Who are we?

We are Gert-Jan and Bartine and live close to the forest of Staphorst. We both grew up with dogs of different breeds. Years ago we got acquainted with this characterful breed through a breeder of the Shiba Inu. We were immediately taken with it.
In 2018 we started looking for a puppy and at the end of 2018 our first Shiba came to our house: Shun. Now, a few years later, 3 Shiba ladies are in charge. Never a dull moment with them around.

In the fall of 2019 we started to study breeding. Shun grows into a great dog with a nice character and we would like to breed a litter there. After completing all health examinations perfectly, we applied for our kennel name. And this is how our kennel Mori Nohata was born.
